No, full payment is made when we deliver the car. Payment can be made in cash in MUR, EUR, USD or GBP or by debit/ credit card. We accept most major credit cards, except AMEX.

We accept driving licences from most countries, as long as you have had it for at least 12 months. We also accept international driving licences. We would suggest that you double check with us regarding your national driving licence before applying for an international driving licence.

Our offices are based up North in Grand Baie. You can collect and drop off the car here. Alternatively, we can also deliver and collect anywhere across the island with an extra charge and a minimum rental duration.

We provide comprehensive insurance with an excess deposit of MUR 20 000.

Yes. The excess deposit is MUR 20 000 and MUR 25 000 for young drivers (aged under 21 years old or having less than 3 years’ of qualified driving experience).

We take a pre-authorisation on your credit card and cancel this when you return the car. If you do not have a credit card, you can leave the excess deposit in cash - in MUR, EUR, USD or GBP, and you will be returned the deposit in the same currency at the end of the rental.

Same to same; the car must be returned with the same fuel level it was delivered with.

Front facing baby seats and booster seats are available with an extra charge.

Garmin GPS devices are available with an extra charge.

We drive on the left. Roads are well indicated and come with the added bonus of magical sceneries. Speed limits are indicated in km/hr rather than mile/hr, and as elsewhere in the world, there are speed cameras all over Mauritius to make sure that you do follow the speed limits. Please be careful as speeding fines can be hefty.
