Your driver will pick you up from your accommodation at 09:00 and as part of this tour you will visit:

• Mahebourg – embark on a tour of the past in this historical village, named after the French governor Mahé de Labourdonnais. The famous naval battle of 1810 took place in the lagoon, more precisely at Vieux Grand Port. The village abounds with ancient vestiges recalling the different colonisations over time, as well as the period of slavery; you can still see the slaves’ wash house, among other protected monuments. Discover Pointe Cannon, Cavendish Bridge, the Naval museum and the biscuit factory, Biscuiterie H. Rault, famous for producing cassava/ manioc biscuits since 1870.
• Ile aux Aigrettes – This small islet just about 800 metres off the south east coast of Mauritius, is surrounded by a ring of coral and ebony forest covers its landscape. It was declared a nature reserve in 1965 and incredible conservation work has helped create a habitat for rare species that had long disappeared from the island. You can enjoy a guided tour among the fauna and flora, keeping a lookout for rare plants, reptiles, tortoises and beautiful birds, including the pink pigeon, Mauritius fody and Mauritius olive white-eye.
• Blue Bay Marine Park – explore the marine park in a glass bottom boat and marvel at the exceptional sea life. You can also choose to swim and snorkel in the marine park for an absolutely amazing experience. End the day on the beach of Blue Bay.

You will be dropped off back at your accommodation by 17:00.
