Your driver will pick you up from your accommodation at 09:00 and as part of this tour you will visit:

• Cap Malheureux for the postcard famous Red Church – The elegant little church of Notre Dame Auxiliatrice is one of the most photographed sights on the island.
• Grand Baie – take a walk in the lively touristic village that has everything from beaches to shopping and food.
• Botanical Gardens of Pamplemousses – Created over 300 years ago by the famous French botanist Pierre Poivre, the garden is the oldest in the Southern Hemisphere and boasts a plethora of indigenous plants. Say hello to the giant tortoises and Java deers, without forgetting a quick trip by the spectacular water lilies.
• Sugar Adventure – Mauritius and sugar cane go a long way back. Discover the sugar heritage and learn more about the various stages of the sugar-making process at this truly beautiful sugar museum.
• Port Louis – Bazaar: The central market aka “Bazaar Port Louis” offers an authentic taste of local life in Mauritius. This is where the locals shop. Stalls are piled high with juicy tropical fruits and vegetables. You will also find local crafts here. Caudan Waterfront: Located beside the harbour, Le Caudan Waterfront is a shopping, dining and culture destination in Port Louis. Its shop-lined walkway is topped with colourful umbrellas – a sight worthy of click. Blue Penny Museum: An original issue of the blue penny stamp can be seen here. This beautifully decorated museum is also home to other precious collections that represent the mixed historical and cultural heritage of Mauritius. Jummah mosque: An elegant colonial building, this is one of the oldest mosques dating from the 1850s. The building combines Indian, Creole and Islamic architecture.

You will be dropped off back at your accommodation by 17:00.
